Officer, Foundation Relations

• Lead cultivation, growth, and stewardship of institutional foundation partnerships to advance the organization's mission and long-term impact.
• Develop and execute customized engagement strategies, convert outreach into meetings, and deepen multi-year partnerships across program areas.
• Lead proposal strategy and narrative development, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and the organization's Theory of Change.
• Proactively research, qualify, and prioritize new foundation prospects, maintaining a forward-looking pipeline.

This role directly enables Hispanic Access Foundation to secure critical funding for its mission of empowering Latino communities through conservation, education, and civic engagement, thereby amplifying positive social and environmental change.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Demonstrated success in foundation fundraising, including securing and renewing institutional grants.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with ability to translate complex programs into compelling funding cases.
• Experience working collaboratively across programs, finance, communications, and executive leadership.

Targeted salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually. Benefits include 100% paid health, dental, and vision for the individual, unlimited vacation policy, 10 sick days per year, 13 paid holidays, monthly phone/internet stipend, and 401(k) with employer match. Fully remote position.
