NOLS - Annual Giving Officer

• Manage a portfolio of 300+ donors, building lasting relationships and soliciting gifts primarily between $1,000 and $9,999.
• Develop and implement personalized strategies for donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and upgrading to increase retention and build a pipeline for major gifts.
• Collaborate with the Director of Annual Giving to create multi-channel annual appeal processes and oversee donor acknowledgment and recognition plans.

This role directly supports NOLS' mission by securing philanthropic funding that enables wilderness education and leadership development, creating transformative experiences for students and fostering environmental stewardship.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills, with excitement for one-on-one donor interactions.
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques, including direct mail, online giving, and social channels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and development databases; ability to work independently and meet fundraising goals.

Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 USD annually. Full-time, exempt position with benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible time off, course discounts for self and family, and Employee Assistance Program.
