• Edit news stories and analysis for the website and newsletters.
• Collaborate on conceptualizing stories, commissioning pieces, and guiding strategy for responsive news and analysis.
• Edit the news desk email newsletters and help package stories for a dedicated newsletter.
• Manage workflow of the news desk and support publishing on the website.

This role helps build an important outlet for the growing Jewish left, covering critical issues like antisemitism, Israel/Palestine, and left movements, thereby shaping public discourse and supporting progressive Jewish thought.

• 3+ years of experience in a news editing role.
• Experience writing and editing newsletters is a plus.
• Experience in a newsroom is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of beats including left politics, Jewish communal politics, and Israel/Palestine is a significant plus.
