Mission
What you will drive
- Provide claims and appeals assistance to blind and visually impaired veterans and their dependents for VA disability compensation, pension, ancillary, and death benefits.
- Counsel veterans to seek blind rehabilitation training and obtain employment for maximum independence and self-esteem.
- Develop working relationships with federal, state, and county agencies; perform research and investigation of prior claim decisions for possible appeal.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelorโs degree in human services or business-related field and minimum two yearsโ experience in Veteran Service work, or equivalent combination.
- Blind or visually impaired, honorably-discharged military veteran preferred with extensive knowledge of veteran benefits and military culture.
- Must obtain and maintain VA accreditation and pass the National Veterans Legal Services Program written exam within one month of hire.
