National Organizing Director

Lead grassroots and legislative organizing across YIMBY Action's national chapter network to advance pro-housing policy and candidates.
- Build and grow volunteer-led chapters nationwide, developing members into strategic leaders and mobilizing them behind housing legislation.
- Coordinate local, state, and federal legislative campaigns through action alerts, constituent contact, and public comment at key decision points.
- Manage the Organizing Department, supervise staff, set OKRs, and directly advise a portfolio of chapters on strategy and leadership.
- Requires 8–10 years grassroots and legislative organizing experience, including proven chapter-building and legislative outcome delivery.
- Demonstrated commitment to abundant housing and strong stakeholder relationship-building skills essential.
