National Organizer, Stand for Campus Freedom

• Support and grow a network of alumni groups and leaders engaged in high-impact organizing to defend academic freedom and democratic values.
• Recruit and support university-specific alumni leadership teams, mobilize supporters, and execute campaigns including open letters, petitions, and public actions.
• Translate urgent campus developments into strategic alumni action, maintain digital organizing infrastructure, and track progress against goals.

This role strengthens democracy by empowering alumni to protect academic freedom and institutional independence, ensuring universities can teach, learn, and research freely without political coercion.

• Strong organizing skills with experience in campaign strategy, volunteer leadership, and coalition coordination.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with digital organizing tools, CRM, email, petition/action platforms, and campaign tracking systems.
• Ability to work nonpartisanly with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple workstreams under deadlines.

Full-time, exempt position. Remote with domestic travel (5-10% annually). Proximity to Cambridge, MA or San Francisco Bay Area preferred. No salary mentioned.
