Role details
Develop a step-by-step trade guide for Togolese businesses to navigate African Continental Free Trade Area requirements and procedures.
- Research Togo's trade policy, ZLECAf agreement, and institutional frameworks; collect data from government agencies and private sector stakeholders through interviews and surveys.
- Conduct case studies documenting real import-export experiences under ECOWAS trade schemes to illustrate practical challenges and opportunities.
- Draft comprehensive guide integrating national procedures and ZLECAf-specific requirements; present draft at stakeholder validation workshop and incorporate feedback.
- Master's degree in economics, international trade law, or related field; minimum seven years trade research and analysis experience required.
- Deep expertise in ZLECAf, Togolese trade context, and proven experience working in Togo essential; French language proficiency required.
