Lead/Trainer

• Oversee daily activities and responsibilities of assigned shift personnel in a 24/7/365 traffic operations control room.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including curriculum design, facilitation, and certification.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality control, and personnel management.

This role enhances public safety and mobility by ensuring efficient traffic incident management and well-trained control room staff, directly contributing to safer roadways and reduced congestion.

• Prior experience overseeing a staff of 3 to 6 team members.
• Experience with training content development, delivery, and facilitation of recurring certification programs.
• Knowledge of Nebraska’s Interstate and Arterial Road Network.
• Basic proficiency with computer and communication systems; willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.
