Lead Fightback Campaigner

• Develop and sustain positive relationships with affiliate organizations, partners, policy makers, and funders to encourage participation and support for Popular Democracy’s efforts.
• Select targeted areas key to contesting for power and identify, plan, and execute campaigns or programs to advance the Fightback narrative.
• Work with internal teams to support affiliates in developing campaigns and base-building programs, and design complex programs with a theory of the issue and cogent message.
• Drive a fundraising plan to meet established objectives in collaboration with supervisor.

This role creates positive change by building political and community power to advance a pro-worker, pro-immigrant, racial and economic justice agenda, directly improving the lives of low-wage workers, immigrants, and communities of color.

• Significant experience in organizing and grassroots campaign development.
• Demonstrated basebuilding experience and experience in campaign and policy creation, particularly at the national level.
• Strong facilitation meeting skills and experience working in coalitions and alliances.
• Demonstrated commitment to social, racial, and economic justice and understanding of challenges facing marginalized communities.

Full-time, exempt position. Remote with regular travel to Washington, DC. Salary not specified.
