Jr. Communications Consultant

• Support the Communications team in advancing PILnet's mission through digital engagement, web content management, and administrative support for events.
• Assist in implementing communications strategies, maintaining website content, and drafting materials for forced displacement initiatives.
• Provide logistical and communications support for PILnet's annual Global Forum.

This role amplifies PILnet's mission to protect civic space and build just societies by ensuring effective communication of their programs and events, with a specific focus on forced displacement issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, International Relations, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships included) in communications, public relations, digital marketing, or nonprofit communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong Canva skills; familiarity with WordPress and MailChimp a plus.
• Interest in forced displacement, social justice, public interest law, or nonprofit sector work is highly desirable.

Compensation: 1,000-2,300 USD per month for 30 hours per week (temporary, May-December 2026). Remote position with work hours overlapping Central Europe/West Africa time zone. Offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications and global event coordination, exposure to international stakeholders, and professional growth within a mission-driven organization.
