Program Manager, Wildfire Mitigation

• Lead a team of staff and volunteers to execute Team Rubicon's wildfire mitigation goals and objectives.
• Design, grow, and implement the Wildfire Mitigation Program, including budgeting, planning, and reporting on impact.
• Develop relationships with external partners and agencies to support project development.
• Manage a wildfire fuels reduction crew, including leadership, work assignments, and personnel well-being.

This role directly reduces wildfire risk to communities and ecosystems, enhancing disaster resilience and protecting lives and property through proactive mitigation efforts.

• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in military, wildfire mitigation, forest management, disaster response, emergency management, or first responder fields.
• Proven record of personnel management, including recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers.
• Successful past performance managing programs or projects, preferably in wildfire or forestry fields.
• Proficient with technology tools and remote work for communication and coordination.
