Mission
What you will drive
- Design and build multi-agent systems for NASA's Text-to-Spaceship initiative, converting natural language mission requirements into validated spacecraft component designs.
- Architect autonomous agentic workflows integrating LLMs, reinforcement learning, RAG, and uncertainty quantification, with integrations to engineering tools (CAD, FEA, CAM).
- Deploy scalable AI infrastructure on AWS and ensure AI-generated designs are physically viable, safe, and manufacturable by translating aerospace standards into programmatic guardrails.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 2+ years as a software engineer in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing sectors with strong understanding of hardware engineering lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with scripting APIs of CAD/CAE tools (e.g., Autodesk Fusion 360, ANSYS, NASTRAN, SolidWorks) and familiarity with aerospace-grade materials and GD&T.
- Real-world Python experience; secondary TypeScript proficiency a plus. Strong grasp of API design, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Deep understanding of LLM fundamentals, structured output, prompt engineering, and evaluation strategies for multi-step autonomous systems.
