Payer Analytics Consultant (Defined Term)

• Design and validate managed care payer models and perform moderately complex analysis to evaluate payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Conduct moderately complex financial analysis to support successful payer reimbursement outcomes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve payer reimbursement objectives.

This role ensures that the Alliance's payments to healthcare providers are adequate and aligned with revenue, enabling accessible, quality health care for underserved communities in Central California.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in financial healthcare reimbursement analysis (Master’s may substitute for two years).
• Proficiency in financial modeling, SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and advanced Excel (pivot tables).
• Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies, fee schedules, and healthcare data types.

Compensation: Zone 1 pay range $125,000 - $140,000; Zone 2 pay range $118,000 - $132,000 (annual, USD). Benefits for regular employees (not temporary) include medical, dental, vision, ample paid time off, 12 paid holidays, 401(a) retirement plan, 457 deferred compensation plan, and wellness program.
