International Consultant, Programme Policy Officer - Gender, Protection & AAP

• Integrate gender, protection, and accountability to affected populations (AAP) into WFP's programme policies and operations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to country offices on gender equality, protection, and AAP mainstreaming.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure inclusive and equitable access to food assistance.

This role ensures that WFP's food assistance reaches the most vulnerable populations equitably, addressing gender disparities and protecting the rights of affected communities.

• Advanced university degree in gender studies, social sciences, international development, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in gender, protection, or AAP in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Experience with UN or international organizations preferred.
