This role contributes to climate adaptation in Mongolia by developing standards that enhance livestock resilience to climate change, supporting the country's NDC targets and reducing vulnerability to climate-induced disasters.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Post graduate degree in agriculture, environmental management, environmental law, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in agricultural standard development, livestock systems, or climate-resilient farming practices.
  • Experience in coordination, research, stakeholder mapping, and preparation of technical reports.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Home-based assignment with travel costs covered. Payment based on deliverables (50% upon submission of consolidated report, 50% upon finalization of standards). Duration: 3 months (June to August 2026).
