International Consultant - Climate-Resilient Standard Expert

• Guide the technical development of national standards for climate-resilient livestock in Mongolia.
• Facilitate coordination and stakeholder engagement at national and international levels.
• Deliver consolidated reports and finalize climate-resilient livestock standards.

This role contributes to climate adaptation in Mongolia by developing standards that enhance livestock resilience to climate change, supporting the country's NDC targets and reducing vulnerability to climate-induced disasters.

• Post graduate degree in agriculture, environmental management, environmental law, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in agricultural standard development, livestock systems, or climate-resilient farming practices.
• Experience in coordination, research, stakeholder mapping, and preparation of technical reports.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Home-based assignment with travel costs covered. Payment based on deliverables (50% upon submission of consolidated report, 50% upon finalization of standards). Duration: 3 months (June to August 2026).
