International Accounting Manager

• Oversee accounting staff for international entities, including day-to-day work, priorities, and professional development.
• Review full-cycle accounting for multiple foreign subsidiaries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Establish and maintain accounting infrastructure for new jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local rules.
• Support tax compliance, transfer pricing, and statutory audits, while identifying automation opportunities.

This role enables KoBold Metals to scale its mineral exploration operations globally, accelerating the discovery of critical metals for electric vehicles, renewable energy, and data centers, thereby supporting the transition to a sustainable energy future.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 8 years of accounting experience, including managing staff.
• Experience with international operations and multi-entity, multi-currency accounting.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Full-time position. US base salary range: $140,000-$170,000. Remote work within the US or Canada. Equal opportunity employer.
