Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor, Strengthening Infectious Disease Detection Systems (STRIDES), Epidemic Preparedness & Response

• Provide technical leadership for strengthening infectious disease surveillance systems under the STRIDES project.
• Support epidemic preparedness and response activities to detect and contain outbreaks.
• Collaborate with local and global partners to enhance disease detection infrastructure.

This role directly strengthens global health security by improving disease detection systems, enabling faster response to outbreaks and saving lives.

• Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, or related field (MPH, PhD, or MD).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infectious disease surveillance and outbreak response.
• Experience working in low-resource settings and with international health organizations.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
