Higher Ed Campaign Director

• Develop and execute strategic higher education campaign plans in coordination with staff organizers to achieve student debt cancellation and free college.
• Facilitate a member leadership Fellowship cohort to expand membership and develop future member leaders.
• Manage and supervise staff organizers, including creating weekly work plans, conducting debriefs, and supporting professional growth.
• Build coalitional work with higher education labor unions, advocacy groups, students, alumni, and parents.

This role directly advances the fight for student debt cancellation and free college, building economic power for millions of debtors and challenging systemic inequality.

• Minimum of 5 years as a labor or community organizer.
• Minimum of 2 years as a lead organizer supervising staff.
• Experience leading at least one successful campaign from start to finish.
• Understanding of structure-based organizing; excellent organizational and communication skills.
