Head of Platform & Engagement (Volunteer)

• Lead the Platform & Engagement team to define and execute engagement strategy, set quarterly priorities, and manage KPIs.
• Map and improve the end-to-end member journey, analyze behavior to boost activation and retention, and refine value propositions.
• Oversee platform operations on Circle, build dashboards, create repeatable systems, and identify automation opportunities.
• Design formats for member-led interaction, activate engagement across city hubs, and foster a culture of contribution.

This role helps turn a global network of 20,000+ climate and cleantech changemakers into an active, self-sustaining community that accelerates climate and sustainability solutions worldwide.

• Experience leading teams (formal or informal) and background in community, platform ops, growth, or member experience.
• Comfortable using data to guide decisions; familiarity with tools like Circle, Notion, Airtable is a plus.
• Strategic, analytical, collaborative, proactive, and execution-oriented.
• Interest in climate, cleantech, or sustainability.

High visibility across a global climate and cleantech ecosystem; direct collaboration with leadership and city leads across 90+ cities; ownership over a core function; experience in community strategy, operations, and analytics; pathway into a senior leadership role. This is a volunteer position (unpaid).
