Head of Internal Technology & AI (f/m/x) - remote

• Lead refurbed's AI transformation strategy, driving adoption of AI-first ways of working across all functions to improve productivity, automation, and decision-making.
• Own the internal AI engineering portfolio, including tooling, agents, automations, and integrations, while managing corporate IT outcomes end-to-end.
• Build and lead a cross-disciplinary team of AI & IT engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and strong service orientation.

By enabling sustainable consumption through refurbished products, refurbed reduces CO₂ emissions and electronic waste. This role accelerates that mission by embedding AI and technology to scale operations and make sustainable choices more accessible.

• Track record leading cross-functional AI or digital transformation end-to-end in a scaling tech company or top-tier advisory environment.
• Engineering background strong enough to drive architecture and challenge senior engineers on trade-offs.
• Deep change-management expertise and strong stakeholder management across senior leaders.
• Working fluency with modern AI engineering stack (LLMs, agents, MCPs, etc.) and leadership exposure to internal AI/engineering teams and IT operations.
