How to Apply for GTM Founder's Associate (all genders) | ClimateTech

at carbmee

🏢 About carbmee

Carbmee is a Berlin-based ClimateTech startup that helps industrial and manufacturing companies uncover 90% of their carbon reduction potential in just 21 days through an integrated emissions data platform. Working here means you'll be at the forefront of tackling climate change by enabling data-driven decarbonization at scale, with direct exposure to the CEO and leadership team.

About This Role

As a GTM Founder's Associate, you will be the engine behind Carbmee's go-to-market strategy, sourcing and qualifying target accounts while running discovery conversations that translate regulatory complexity into clear business opportunities. This role is highly impactful because your insights will directly shape how Carbmee enters and wins in industrial markets, working hand-in-hand with the CEO.

💡 A Day in the Life

Your day might start with analyzing a list of 50 target accounts, filtering by revenue, sector, and regulatory exposure. By mid-morning, you're on a discovery call with a manufacturing VP of Sustainability, probing their carbon reporting pain points. After lunch, you synthesize findings into a thesis for the CEO, then spend the afternoon sourcing new contacts on LinkedIn and qualifying inbound leads.

🎯 Who carbmee Is Looking For

  • A deal hunter with 1-3 years in VC, PE, or top-tier consulting, experienced in sourcing and evaluating high-potential opportunities.
  • Native German speaker with fluent English, able to navigate complex conversations with industrial decision-makers.
  • Analytical and proactive, capable of building and pressure-testing theses on accounts, sectors, and buying triggers.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and speed, ready to run discovery calls that turn technical complexity into a compelling business case.

4

Tailor your resume to emphasize speed and judgment in target company qualification.
