What you will drive

  • Manage and grow the organization's grant portfolio by preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals and follow-up reports.
  • Translate complex ideas, impact stories, data, and research into strong narratives for proposals and communications.
  • Cultivate relationships with prospective and existing grant funders, and track communications in Salesforce.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3-7 years of professional experience writing grant proposals, reports, donor correspondence, or marketing materials in a nonprofit environment, particularly within journalism or climate/environment funder community.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, nonprofit management, or relevant fields.
  • Excellent writing, editing, research, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to develop budgets, prepare financial reports, and understand financial statements.
