Grant Writer (remote/contract)

• Draft LOIs, narrative grant proposals, and reports for private foundations, corporate foundations, and government agencies.
• Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities aligned with the organization's mission.
• Develop and refine reusable proposal templates, case statements, and boilerplate content.
• Research, write, and edit tailored grant proposals and letters of inquiry.

This role directly supports the Waterfront Alliance's mission to create thriving and resilient waterfronts, shorelines, and coastlines by securing funding for climate resilience, public access, working waterfront, and climate education programs.

• Minimum 5 years of grant writing experience, preferably with environmental, waterfront, or urban advocacy organizations.
• Demonstrated success securing grants from foundations, government agencies, and/or corporate funders.
• Strong research, writing, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Remote contract position offering 10–20 hours per month. Compensation details not specified.
