About This Role
As a Grant Writer & Manager, you'll be the driving force behind Honeycomb's institutional fundraising, taking it to the next level. This contract role (10-12 hours/month) involves researching, writing, and managing grants, directly enabling the organization to expand its impactful programs. Your work will secure vital resources that help kids and families make a tangible difference in their communities.
💡 A Day in the Life
A typical day might involve researching new foundation prospects, drafting a letter of inquiry, or writing a full proposal. You'll also coordinate with the Executive Director to align on funding priorities and track deadlines for reports. Since it's remote and part-time, you'll have flexibility, but you'll need to be proactive in communicating progress and managing your schedule.
