What you will drive

  • Conduct research to identify grant opportunities and create a list of prospective foundations aligned with GSA Network's funding priorities.
  • Write and submit grant applications, ensuring all narratives, budgets, and attachments are submitted on time.
  • Translate GSA Network's grassroots organizing model into compelling narratives for diverse foundation audiences.
  • Maintain a master list of all grants applied for and their award status in collaboration with the Development Manager.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least 5 years of experience in grant research and grant writing for nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong, established relationships with funders in LGBTQ+, youth organizing, and education justice sectors.
  • Demonstrated understanding of grassroots organizing models, movement-building work, and the current political and funding landscape.
  • Proven ability to simplify and translate complex organizational vision into compelling grant narratives.
