General Counsel (Fully Remote)

• Build legal infrastructure enabling Cinereach to compete in entertainment while maintaining nonprofit compliance.
• Coordinate external counsel and synthesize guidance into actionable business frameworks.
• Draft and negotiate content partnerships, production agreements, and distribution deals.
• Manage legal operations, compliance, and corporate governance.

This role enables Cinereach to deploy funds, scale content partnerships, and explore innovative revenue models, ultimately supporting storytellers who challenge dominant cultural narratives and drive positive change.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years legal experience with significant entertainment/media focus.
• Experience negotiating complex media agreements and managing in-house legal functions.
• Nonprofit or public sector experience strongly preferred.
