Freelance Graphic / Presentation Designer

Core responsibilities:

• Create a cohesive, World Cup-themed design template package for "Know Your Rights" educational materials
• Develop Google Slides KYR template deck with cover slide, three content slide layouts, and closing slide
• Design three visually cohesive Canva template layouts for printed handouts/flyers
• Provide digital asset toolkit with isolated graphical elements for branding replication

This role creates positive change by visually revamping educational materials to capture public attention during the 2026 World Cup, making vital legal rights information resonant and engaging for immigrant communities facing increased security presence.

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design, layout design, and presentation formatting
• Proficiency in Google Slides and Canva for creating accessible templates for non-designers
• Strong portfolio showcasing clean typography and creative use of thematic elements
• Ability to receive feedback and meet strict deadlines
• Shared commitment to immigrant justice and liberation (artists with lived experience in immigrant communities highly encouraged)

Compensation: $1,500 flat fee for the project. Usage rights: Upon final payment, rights to templates and design assets fully transfer to NJAIJ for unlimited use, while artist retains portfolio display rights.
