Francophone Africa Engagement Advisor

• Lead strategic engagement across Francophone African countries, working with governments, regional bodies, and ecosystem partners to co-create policy environments conducive to innovation and social entrepreneurship.
• Develop and implement a regional engagement strategy, including identifying priority countries and policy themes, and monitor regional policy trends affecting social entrepreneurship and social innovation.
• Build partnerships with think tanks, NGOs, donors, and social innovators to expand impact and scale, and identify funding and collaboration opportunities.

This role helps create policy environments that enable social innovation and entrepreneurship across Francophone Africa, addressing poverty, restoring the planet, and ensuring inclusion through collaborative, systemic change.

• 7–10 years of progressively senior experience in public policy, government affairs, or international development.
• Deep familiarity with the African region’s public sector landscapes, particularly in economic development, innovation, or entrepreneurship policy.
• Strong track record of engaging with governments, multilateral institutions, and cross-sectoral partners.
• Fluent spoken and written French and English skills.
