Role details
Raise A$4–10 million in philanthropic capital and loans to fund Project COA's first charitable business acquisition.
- Own fundraising strategy: identify funders, develop materials, manage follow-up, and close commitments from philanthropist lenders and grantmakers.
- Represent Project COA externally through podcasts, conferences, press, and ecosystem-building to communicate the charitable ownership model.
- Learn the thesis deeply and persuade serious funders that this model offers a powerful new approach to philanthropy.
- Requires proven track record closing meaningful fundraising commitments and ability to learn complex new models quickly.
- Three-year founding role commitment; salary US$80,000 rising to US$120,000 upon first acquisition completion.
