Food Policy Intern

• Conduct research and policy analysis to support climate-friendly food campaign priorities.
• Assist with grassroots outreach, coalition engagement, and campaign mobilization.
• Draft outreach materials, blogs, social media content, and advocacy communications.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, webinars, briefings, and advocacy events.

This role supports Friends of the Earth's efforts to transition the food system to one that is sustainable, healthy, and just, reducing the harmful environmental and social impacts of industrial agriculture and promoting climate-friendly food policies.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in environmental studies, public policy, political science, communications, public health, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct research and synthesize information.

Paid, part-time internship at $19.50/hour, 15-20 hours per week for 5-7 months. Interns gain valuable skills in research, campaign development, communications, and public outreach within a dynamic environmental advocacy organization.
