Mission
What you will drive
- Oversee and manage the organization's accounting and financial management functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, monthly/annual closings, cash flow, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and nonprofit standards.
- Lead organizational budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; provide variance analysis and guidance on budget development, expense allocation, indirect costs, and grant compliance.
- Manage grant and fund accounting, track restricted/unrestricted funding, monitor grant expenditures, and prepare financial reports for funders and government agencies.
- Coordinate annual audits, Form 990 preparation, tax compliance, maintain internal controls, manage banking/investment relationships, and support the Board's Finance Committee.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- At least 8 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience in a nonprofit setting; experience managing government grants strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit fund accounting, budgeting, and financial compliance; experience coordinating annual audits and working with external auditors.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; collaborative and service-oriented approach.
