Mission

What you will drive

  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and expansion of the FAIME database, ensuring smooth operations and strategic growth.
  • Lead budget management, grant applications, and funder relations to secure long-term sustainability.
  • Supervise regional coordinators, manage technical contractors, and coordinate governance committees.
  • Cultivate relationships with partners, community allies, and mining experts to expand the network.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant management-level experience, with preference for 2+ years in a national/international management role.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish, French, or Portuguese fluency is a strong asset.
  • Proven experience in grant writing, funder relations, and budget management in the nonprofit space.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills; ability to work independently and manage a team collaboratively.

What's in it for you

Compensation at CAD 42.37/hr (approximately CAD 88,000 annually for 40 hrs/week, but role is 4 days/week). Eligible for annual cost-of-living adjustment raises. 4 weeks paid vacation, generous health and employment benefits. 12-month contract with possibility of extension. Flexible hours and remote work with occasional travel.
