Executive Director, Joyce Ivy Foundation

• Oversee the organization's programs, strategic plan, administration, staff, and volunteers (including the Board and Associate Board).
• Articulate and implement a vision and strategic plan that extends Joyce Ivy's brand and impact.
• Serve as the key ambassador to individuals, corporations, and grant-making organizations, stewarding existing relationships and developing a pipeline of new supporters.
• Act as the lead front-facing representative, communicating effectively with all constituencies through written communications, public speaking, and virtual and in-person interactions.

This role directly advances the Joyce Ivy Foundation's mission to broaden college and professional aspirations of high-achieving female high school students from the Midwest, particularly those from low- or middle-income backgrounds, by leading the organization's strategic growth and fundraising efforts.

• Passion for and commitment to Joyce Ivy Foundation's mission.
• Professional and successful experience in fundraising, preferably in the education sector.
• Ability to connect and collaborate with a variety of constituencies (Board members, students, volunteers, donors, etc.) in varied modalities, and activate them to drive priorities forward.
• Demonstrated record of leadership excellence within a nonprofit organization, expanding organizational vision and developing institutional partnerships.
• Cheerful willingness to travel to US locations as necessary, while working primarily remotely.
• BA, BS or equivalent undergraduate degree required; relevant experience in non-profit management and/or education (5+ years) preferred.

Expected salary range $80-150K; salary & bonuses commensurate with experience and performance. Health care and retirement, 3 weeks paid vacation, and 10 paid holidays. For exceptional candidates, open to fractional arrangement.

The Joyce Ivy Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization celebrating its 20th anniversary, is dedicated to the academic advancement and leadership development of young women from the Midwest. It provides financial assistance for female high school students to participate in summer academic programs at highly selective colleges and universities, and offers free college admissions and financial aid programming.
