Executive Director

• Champion the mission and goals of CGB, including strategic giving and targeted activism, through unified communications and media presence.
• Lead organizational development and revenue raising, including strategic planning, membership growth, and major gift fundraising.
• Manage people development and organizational operations, including recruiting and retaining staff and volunteer leaders, budgeting, and compliance.
• Drive political strategy and implementation, including selecting priority races, developing programming, and maintaining partner relationships.

This role directly strengthens American democracy by mobilizing the Harvard community to elect Democrats, ensure election integrity, and fight authoritarianism, thereby creating a more just democratic system.

• Harvard affiliation or degree required.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in political, advocacy, nonprofit, or movement-building organizations.
• Demonstrated success in securing and stewarding individual and major gifts.
• Strong understanding of electoral politics and commitment to electing Democrats and defending democratic institutions.

Competitive salary ($120,000 to $160,000 depending on experience) and benefits. Full-time remote position with attendance at in-person events in various locations.
