Executive Director

• Lead the development and execution of strategic priorities for the Appleseed Foundation, ensuring alignment with the needs of justice centers and communities.
• Build strong relationships across the network, foster collaboration, and coordinate multi-center initiatives for systemic change.
• Serve as principal ambassador and spokesperson, driving fundraising and external partnerships to support the network's sustainability.
• Oversee organizational operations, staff leadership, and board relations to ensure effective governance and financial health.

This role advances social justice by stewarding a binational network of justice centers that pursue systemic solutions through policy advocacy, impact litigation, and community partnerships, directly benefiting marginalized communities.

• Significant senior leadership experience in nonprofit organizations, with demonstrated success in fundraising and donor relationship management.
• Strong understanding of systemic social justice advocacy, including policy advocacy, impact litigation, and community partnerships.
• Experience working with networks, coalitions, or decentralized collaborative models.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; J.D. or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

Salary range: $120,000-$155,000, commensurate with experience. Competitive Benefits Package. Fully remote position within the United States.
