Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic priorities for the Appleseed Foundation, ensuring alignment with the needs of justice centers and communities.
  • Build strong relationships across the network, foster collaboration, and coordinate multi-center initiatives for systemic change.
  • Serve as principal ambassador and spokesperson, driving fundraising and external partnerships to support the network's sustainability.
  • Oversee organizational operations, staff leadership, and board relations to ensure effective governance and financial health.

What makes you a great fit

  • Significant senior leadership experience in nonprofit organizations, with demonstrated success in fundraising and donor relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of systemic social justice advocacy, including policy advocacy, impact litigation, and community partnerships.
  • Experience working with networks, coalitions, or decentralized collaborative models.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; J.D. or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

Benefits
