Engineering Manager

• Lead and empower a squad of engineers, fostering an environment of psychological safety and continuous improvement.
• Drive the evolution of the Service Platform, providing seamless SDKs and messaging systems to reduce cognitive load for hundreds of engineers.
• Conduct cross-team outreach to plan the team's roadmap, manage dependencies, and lead large-scale migration efforts to reduce technical debt.
• Represent Workiva Engineering at internal and external events and engage in recruiting.

This role enables the platform that powers Workiva's AI-driven solutions, helping organizations navigate uncertainty, maintain trust, and make decisions that stand up to scrutiny, ultimately driving positive change in finance, risk, and sustainability.

• 4+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep understanding of Workiva's ecosystem and architectural influence.
• Experience mentoring peers, leading squad-level initiatives, and strategic communication skills.

Salary range in the US: $129,000.00 - $207,000.00. Discretionary bonus typically paid annually, Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire, 401(k) match, and comprehensive employee benefits package.
