Energy Markets Analyst (NYISO)

• Manage participation in NYISO's Wholesale Capacity Market (SCR and DER PM programs).
• Build and enhance analytical tools to support operational and customer-facing needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Product to optimize portfolio performance.
• Translate program rules into actionable instructions for account managers, customers, and product development.

This role directly supports the growth of distributed energy resources, enabling a cleaner, more resilient grid and reducing emissions by optimizing participation in wholesale energy markets.

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Programming experience in Python and SQL; strong technical proficiency in Excel.
• Exhibited interest in the energy and/or climate space.
• 1-2 years of work experience; experience in demand-side energy industry preferred.
