Energy Analyst

• Provide analytical support to natural gas and electricity energy managers, including data management, reporting, invoice audits, rate modeling, tariff analysis, and natural gas operations support.
• Analyze and validate key customer metrics across multiple data management systems to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee, structure, and lead data analysis to inform insights and decision-making, producing reports on cost, consumption, budgets, savings, etc.
• Execute daily/monthly nominations, confirmations, and imbalances for natural gas operations, and communicate with pipeline representatives and energy advisors.

This role helps large organizations navigate the energy landscape, optimize energy supply, and reduce costs, contributing to sustainability and clean energy goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability or Engineering preferred).
• 3+ years of energy market experience at an end-user organization, energy utility, energy supplier, or energy consulting firm.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI), with ability to perform data analysis in Excel.
• Familiarity with North American energy power or natural gas markets, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
