Mission
What you will drive
- Provide zealous advocacy for children with disabilities in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems to secure early intervention and special education services through IFSP and IEP meetings, mediations, and compliance complaints.
- Train and supervise pro bono attorneys, interns, and law clerks.
- Develop and deliver community trainings and tools for clients, caregivers, and stakeholders on special education and early intervention rights.
- Collaborate with the education team to address systemic issues related to ableism, racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and California bar admission in good standing.
- 0-3 years of legal experience.
- Experience in special education advocacy, child welfare, juvenile justice, or working with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; commitment to social justice.
