DREEM Deputy Project Director

• Lead oversight of project activities, ensuring commitments under annual workplans are achieved or adapted with quality assurance.
• Manage three technical pillars (RLO Engagement, Technical Assistance Mechanism, Higher Education Inclusion) and supervise respective Senior Technical Managers and cross-cutting specialists.
• Support recruitment, capacity building, partnership development, and represent the Project Director as needed.

This role directly enables refugee, displaced, and host community youth across Africa to access dignified work and education, strengthening local ecosystems and Refugee-Led Organizations for sustainable, locally-led change.

• Master’s Degree in International Development, Education, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Fluency in English and French required.
• Significant experience in international development within inclusive market systems, higher education, or forced migration sectors in Africa.
• Proven technical expertise in localization/RLO strengthening, social/academic inclusion of refugee and displaced persons, or design of technical assistance.
