Director, Social Purpose Organizations

• Lead operational and execution strategy for stewardship and proactive development of CAF's Global Charity Database, amplifying philanthropic investment into social purpose organizations globally.
• Provide overall operational leadership for SPO audience products and services, including Friends Funds, Network partnerships, and Cause Area of Interest Funds.
• Collaborate with VP, Grant Services to align SPO work across the organization, and lead proactive SPO engagement to expand partnerships with high-impact organizations.
• Manage the Friends Fund team, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and client escalations.

This role strengthens the global giving ecosystem by connecting philanthropists with vetted social purpose organizations, enabling effective cross-border charitable giving that supports critical causes worldwide.

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years experience in international social purpose organizations with focus on systems, collaboration, and client relationship management.
• At least 5 years of both systems and people leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of international philanthropy, including donor and grantmaking strategies, regulations, and cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; proficiency in CRM systems.
