🏢 About Pivot Energy
Pivot Energy is a leading renewable energy company focused on accelerating the clean energy transition through innovative solar and storage projects. With a mission to drive impactful decarbonization, they offer a dynamic, mission-driven environment where you can directly contribute to a sustainable future.
About This Role
As Director of Project Management, you will lead a team of PMs and coordinators, overseeing the execution of solar and storage portfolios from start to finish. Your role is critical in ensuring projects meet cost, schedule, and quality targets while fostering cross-departmental alignment and reporting to executive leadership.
💡 A Day in the Life
Your day typically starts with a portfolio stand-up with your PM team to review schedule and risk updates. You then meet with Preconstruction and Construction leads to align on upcoming milestones, followed by reviewing financial reports in Sage Intacct and Power BI. Afternoons involve mentoring a Senior PM on a complex contract negotiation and escalating a critical permit issue to executive leadership.
