Director, Program Design

• Lead the front-end of opportunity development by reviewing RFPs and funding opportunities, assessing alignment with Kambo's purpose and capabilities, and developing proposal strategies.
• Design high-impact, equity-centered programs including needs assessment, logic models, theory of change, program architecture, and customer journey maps.
• Manage the proposal process from initial screening through submission, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring clarity and accountability for program deliverables.

This role advances equitable access to energy, transportation, and housing programs for underrepresented communities, helping to reduce energy poverty and promote climate justice through community-led models.

• 5–10+ years of experience in program design or similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability managing RFPs and ownership of related processes.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience working with governments, utilities, nonprofits, or regulated sectors.
