Director or Senior Director of Development, Renewable Energy

• Manage and grow Mission's pipeline of utility-scale Solar and Battery renewable energy projects in the Western United States.
• Oversee project development lifecycle including land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, and asset divestment.
• Lead and coach a team of developers, manage project budgets and schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This role directly accelerates the clean energy transition by developing utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, decarbonizing the grid and providing clean, reliable energy to communities.

• Minimum 7-9 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy development.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, urban planning, engineering, environmental or finance related fields.
• Proven track record as a lead developer with a portfolio of projects 1000MW+ in size.
• Strong understanding of energy markets and renewable energy development in North America.

Highly competitive compensation: $185,000 - $240,000 annual salary + bonuses (annual and project-based). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, health insurance; 401(k) with company match; generous time-off policies.
