Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead Room to Grow's major gift ($5K+) strategy and execution, managing a portfolio of 100-125 high-net-worth individuals and family foundations.
  • Build and implement strategies to grow and diversify the individual donor pipeline across regional markets, securing at least $100K in new revenue over 12-18 months.
  • Serve as an advisor to the CEO and Board on high net worth prospects, board recruitment, and fundraising engagement.
  • Represent Room to Grow externally in the NYC community, raising the organization's profile and impact through thought leadership and strategic relationship-building.

This role directly enables Room to Grow to provide critical support to families with young children (ages 0-3) by securing the philanthropic resources needed to sustain and expand their strengths-based program, ensuring strong starts in childhood lead to strong outcomes in life.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Senior-level experience in advancement, development, or revenue roles with a track record of driving fundraising strategy and results.
  • Proven success as a frontline fundraiser securing and stewarding gifts in the $5K-$100K+ range.
  • Experience partnering with executive leaders and supporting Board in fundraising efforts.
  • Deep understanding of advancement operations, including pipeline management, performance tracking, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
