What you will drive
- Provide hands-on financial leadership and operational support to affiliated organizations, including during transitions, restructuring, or financial distress.
- Oversee core accounting functions, financial systems, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation to ensure GAAP compliance and faithful stewardship.
- Develop tools and training to enhance financial literacy and operational consistency across the United Methodist connection.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience with full-cycle accounting, audits, payroll, and GAAP compliance.
- Experience in nonprofit accounting, multi-entity environments, or shared services; faith-based experience strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial leaders.
