Director, Business Development (Remote, US)

• Identify, evaluate, and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities in the EV and battery storage markets, leading from market analysis through partnership execution.
• Develop financial, market, and energy models to assess opportunities and structure complex partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at EV manufacturers, managed charging providers, and residential storage suppliers.

This role accelerates the transition to clean energy by expanding virtual power plant capabilities through EV and battery storage partnerships, enabling more efficient energy use and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

• 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate strategy, with significant focus on storage and/or EV sectors.
• Deep understanding of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs), Demand Response, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), EVSE charging infrastructure, and managed charging/V2G models.
• Proven experience in developing financial, market, or energy models to support business strategy.
• Demonstrable experience working within or partnering across the EV and residential storage ecosystems.

• Full-time position with competitive base salary: $175k - $220k.
