How to Apply for Digital Marketing Manager (US Remote)
at Project Slingshot
๐ข About Project Slingshot
Project Slingshot is a global nonprofit that uses disruptive campaigns to expose and end factory farming, taking on Big Ag with unapologetic, fast-moving tactics. Unlike traditional animal welfare groups, they aim to change the conversation through bold, attention-grabbing content that builds unstoppable momentum for change. If you want to use your digital marketing skills for a mission-driven organization that isn't afraid to push boundaries, this is a unique opportunity.
About This Role
As Digital Marketing Manager (US), you'll be the engine behind Project Slingshot's US digital presence, overseeing content production, scheduling, and community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director (US), you'll ensure channels are fresh, engaging, and relentless in driving conversation and action. This hands-on role also involves building relationships with influencers and supporters to amplify the mission, turning content into compelling storytelling that expands reach and inspires action.
๐ก A Day in the Life
You might start your day reviewing analytics from yesterday's posts, then jump into a creative meeting to brainstorm a new TikTok series exposing factory farming practices. After coordinating with the design team on graphics, you'll schedule posts for the week, engage with comments and DMs, and reach out to a potential influencer for a collaboration. By afternoon, you're adapting a global campaign for US audiences and testing a new Instagram Reel format to see what resonates.
