Development Manager

• Maintain and evolve the organization's fundraising systems and strategy, including grant proposals and reports, individual giving programs, and fundraising events.
• Manage grants administration, ensuring timely submissions, compliance, and accurate record-keeping.
• Support fundraising strategy through project management, tracking metrics, and coordinating across teams.
• Lead individual giving program and plan fundraising events.

This role directly supports the advancement of racial, gender, and economic justice at the local level by securing the resources needed for Local Progress and the Impact Lab to build knowledge, skills, and leadership among local elected officials.

• 6+ years of experience in development, fundraising, or grants management, with at least 3 years of non-profit fundraising.
• Strong writing and editing skills, including experience reviewing grant proposals and reports.
• Experience managing grant processes, donor databases, and fundraising systems.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently on complex multi-stakeholder projects.

Remote, U.S.-based position. Travel up to six days a month. Salary not specified.
