Design Engineer II

• Create sheet sets and perform design work for multiple engineering disciplines supporting renewable energy and substation projects.
• Acquire and apply knowledge of renewable energy system layouts and components such as modules, racking, inverters, and Balance of Systems (BOS).
• Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers on expectations and manage time efficiently across multiple projects.

This role directly contributes to the design of large-scale renewable energy projects, accelerating the transition to clean energy and fighting climate change.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar applicable work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD.
• 2+ years of solar PV systems or energy storage system design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and efficient time management.
